Ankara (AA) - The Turkish president’s address to this fall’s 79th Session of the General Assembly of the UN, which centered on critical global and humanitarian issues, has been published as a book by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate.
According to a statement from the directorate, the book, available in Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s original Turkish as well as English and Arabic, is intended to serve as a guide for future generations, presenting his major appeals on heart-wrenching issues he raised before the international community at the UN podium.
The book highlights Erdogan's address, delivered under the slogan "A fairer world is possible," where he called attention to the ongoing genocide in Gaza – now over a year old, having taken some 43,000 lives – and various other issues many countries hesitate to address or seek to downplay.
