ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark index rose 370.10 points on the start of Monday's morning session.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 0.35 percent to start the week at 107,212.89 points, compared with 106,842.79 points at Friday's close.
The banking and holding sector indices rose 0.27 and 0.50 percent respectively.
The mining sector performed the best with a 1.23 percent increase while the leasing factoring sector was the only index to open with a fall, dropping 0.56 percent.
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was flat at 3.5360 at 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Monday, compared with 3.5320 at Friday's close.
