Türkiye's state aid agency TIKA and South Korea's KOICA on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in various fields.
A signing ceremony was held at TIKA headquarters in Ankara, attended by KOICA President Chang Won-sam, South Korean envoy Jeong Yeondoo, and head of TIKA Serkan Kayalar.
Kayalar said they deem cooperation between the two development agencies valuable in terms of strengthening bilateral ties.
As part of the agreement, he added, the two agencies will carry out joint projects in sectors such as health, climate change, clean energy, education, digitalization, food safety and agriculture.
Chang, for his part, said they are happy to renew the memorandum of cooperation and will work together for development. The two agencies first signed an MoU on cooperation in activities in countries including Palestine, Cambodia, Myanmar and Pakistan in 2011.
