ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Thursday at 10,016.80 points, marking a decrease of 0.07% or 7.51 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index increased by 1.45% to 10,024.31 points, with a daily transaction volume of 93 billion Turkish liras ($2.76 billion).
As of 10.25 a.m. (0725GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 33.4905, the EUR/TRY rate stood at 36.8010, while the GBP/TRY rate was 42.5945.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,397.73, and the price of Brent crude oil was around $77.75 per barrel.
