ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul fell 0.16% to close at 3,841.56 points on Tuesday.
After starting the day at 3,907.43 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 6.06 points from Monday's record close of 3,847.62 points.
During the day, the index's lowest value was 3,805.45, points, while its daily high was 3,927.17, a fresh intraday record.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 3 trillion Turkish liras ($163.7 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 98 billion Turkish liras ($5.29 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was at $1,653.85, while Brent crude oil was around $89.22 per barrel as of 6.19 p.m. local time (1519GMT).
