Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,369.87 points, up 0.48%, or 49.91 points, from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 1.59% to close at 10,319.96 points, with a daily trading volume of 106 billion liras ($3.28 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2785 as of 09.53 a.m. local time (0653GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 35.0514, while a British pound traded for 40.8587 liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $83.81 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $2,389.90.
