ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 10,269.90 points, up 0.80% or 81.05 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST100 index soared 2.94% to close at 10,188.85 points, with a daily transaction volume of 144 billion Turkish liras ($3.96 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 36.4480 as of 09.50 am (0650GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 39.4555 and the GBP/TRY traded at 47.0105.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,921.20, while the price of Brent crude oil was around $69.60 per barrel.
