ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 8,853.83 points, posting a slight increase of 0.17% or 15.23 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index was up by 2.13% to 8,838.60 points, with a daily transaction volume of 85 billion Turkish liras ($2.49 billion).
As of 10.20 a.m. (0720GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.2640 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.9805 for the euro, and 44.4380 for the British pound.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,752.30, and the Brent crude oil traded at $75.30 per barrel.
