ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Tuesday at 8,677.75 points, marking an increase of 0.27% or 23.36 points from the previous close.
On Monday, The BIST 100 index dipped 1.58%, closing at 8,654.39 points with a daily transaction volume of 61 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion).
As of 10.00 am (0700GMT), the exchange rates were recorded at 34.2530 Turkish lira per US dollar, 37.1030 per euro, and 44.5440 per British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold stood at $2,734.70, while Brent crude oil was trading at $73.80 per barrel.
