ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Thursday at 10,109.23 points, up 0.5% or 50.75 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index decreased by 0.4% to 10,058.47 points, with a daily transaction volume of 96 billion liras ($2.75 billion).
As of 10.30 a.m. (0630GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.8805 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.7020 for the euro, and 44.5740 for the British pound.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,719.05, and the price of Brent crude oil traded at $73.5 per barrel.
