ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the week up 3.15% to close at 105,152.17 points on Friday.
Starting the day at 102,211.07 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index surged 3,211.13 points from Thursday's close at 101,940.34 points.
An ounce of gold was sold for $1,495.50 at the weekly close in Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, versus $1,495.50 at the previous close.
The price of Brent oil was $62.28 per barrel as of 6.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Friday -- hovering between $60.76 and $62.72 during the day.
At the beginning of 2019, a barrel of Brent oil was sold for around $53.
