ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 89,510.88 points on Thursday, up 0.48% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 90,116.05 points. As of the daily close, it earned 425.75 points from Wednesday's close of 89,085.13 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,589.05 by market close, down from $1,599 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was over $30 level per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Thursday. It posted a rapid increase during last two hours, from $26 level.
