Turkish students in Kenya visit human rights group

Visit forms part of 10-day exchange progam

NAIROBI, Kenya (AA) - Turkish students in Kenya on a 10-day exchange program visited the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights on Friday.

The 11 students were in the company of 10 university students from Kenya.

Speaking on behalf of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Pardeep Kaur said the students would not only take back new knowledge acquired from Kenya but also new friends.

During their stay in Kenya, the Turkish visitors did community service, renovating schools in poor neighborhoods among other cultural and social activities.
