ISTANBUL (AA) - German football club Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed Monday the signing of Turkish teenager Ali Akman.
Club board member Fredi Bobic said in a statement: "In Ali Akman, we’ve acquired the services of one of Turkish football’s biggest talents. He’s a player we’re hoping to develop and improve over the next few years."
"Ali will be given the time and support he needs here. We’re happy to have gained a young, highly sought-after player of such ability," it added.
The 18-year-old forward will move to the club from Turkish second-division side Bursaspor on July 1, 2021, after signing a four-year contract valid until 30 June 2025.
Akman, who joined the club on a free transfer, scored 14 goals and five assists in 45 games for the Turkish side thus far.
