ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye became the 2023 CEV Men's Volleyball European Golden League champions after beating Ukraine 3-2 in the final on Sunday.
The Crescent Stars beat Ukraine with 14-25, 25-22, 26-24, 22-25, and 15-6 sets to clinch the trophy for the third time in their history.
Kaan Gurbuz led Türkiye with 19 points, while his teammate Efe Bayram contributed with 15 points.
Oleh Plotnytskyi scored 20 points for Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Croatia finished the competition third by beating Czech Republic 3-0 in the 3rd-place match on Sunday.
Türkiye, with three titles, became the most successful team of the competition, which has been held since 2004.
