ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye’s interior minister said Wednesday that police carried out widescale anti-narcotics operations across the country.
The operations based in the nation’s capital of Ankara were conducted simultaneously in 52 provinces against drug manufacturers and traffickers, Suleyman Soylu told reporters.
A total of 524 suspects were arrested, said Soylu, with 2,841 personnel taking part in the operation that targeted 598 suspects.
