ISTANBUL (AA) - The US defeated Türkiye 3-1 on Tuesday in the Volleyball Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
The US won the clash with sets of 25-17, 26-28, 32-30, and 25-20 in 132 minutes at Tokyo's Yoyogi Dome.
With this result, the US won all three matches, while Türkiye suffered their second loss in three games.
Türkiye will face Japan on Wednesday in their fourth match in Group B.
The qualifying matches are being played in Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and China’s Xi'an cities from Sept. 30 to Oct 8, with six countries earning Olympic quota spots.
