Türkiye nabs 29 irregular migrants in Aegean Sea

Migrants were taken to provincial migration authorities

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish Coast Guard said Saturday it detained 29 irregular migrants who were traveling by boat in the Aegean Sea.

The migrants were detained off Fethiye district in Mugla province on Türkiye’s Aegean Coast while they were trying to go abroad via illegal ways, according to a statement. ​​​​​​​

The migrants were taken to the provincial migration authorities.
