ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye ranked first in Europe in 2023 in terms of agricultural revenue with $68.5 billion, said the nation’s agriculture and forestry minister on Monday.
Türkiye came on top in Europe and ranked among the top 10 worldwide in agricultural revenue last year, said Ibrahim Yumakli, citing data from the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Bank.
Türkiye’s agricultural revenues in 2023 also rose 16% year-on-year, he said.
“I sincerely congratulate all our sector stakeholders who contributed to this success,” he added.
