ANKARA (AA) – The Turkish and Sao Tomean foreign ministers on Tuesday spoke over the phone to discuss economic, education and security cooperation, said Turkish diplomatic sources.
Mevlut Cavusoglu congratulated Alberto Neto Pereira on becoming the new foreign minister of the African island nation, the sources said, adding the top diplomats also discussed bilateral ties between Ankara and Sao Tome.
Cavusoglu also invited his counterpart to the third Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye, which is scheduled to be held in the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya on March 11-13, sources added.
