ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's current account balance posted a deficit of $619 million in August, the country's Central Bank said on Wednesday.
The gold- and energy-excluded current account balance saw a surplus of $6.15 billion, it stated, added that the gold deficit was at $7.1 billion.
Services saw a net surplus of $7.3 billion in August, while travel, under services, posted a net inflow of $5.75 billion.
Primary income saw a net outflow of $922 million, whereas secondary income recorded a net inflow of $141 million.
Direct investment recorded a net inflow of $106 million.
The bank added that official reserves grew $5.1 billion year-on-year in August.
