Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Thursday at 7,813.40 points, surging 3.77% from the previous close.
Starting the day at 7,622.69 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 284.09 points from the midweek's close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 7,582.33, while its daily high was 7,831.85.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 6.6 trillion Turkish liras ($229 billion), with a daily trading volume of 85 billion liras ($2.93 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,053.10, while Brent crude oil sold for around $76.79 per barrel as of 6.41 p.m. local time (1541GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 28.9900, the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 31.8889, while a British pound traded for 36.8966 liras.
