ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Wednesday at 7,860.88 points, up 0.20% from the previous close.
After starting the day at 7,912.44 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 16.08 points from Tuesday's close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $1,966.15, while Brent crude oil sold for around $80.98 per barrel as of 6.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 28.4939, the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 30.4636, while the British pound traded at 34.9950 liras.
