ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended the week at 7,510.68 points, down 3.33% from Thursday.
Starting the last transaction day at 7,691.02 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 258.35 points from Tuesday's close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 7,446.97, while its daily high was 7,711.16.
The total market value of BIST 100 was around 6.49 trillion Turkish liras ($232.2 billion), with a daily trading volume of 98 billion liras ($3.48 billion).
During the day, seven stocks on the index rose and 92 fell compared to the previous close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,005.2, while Brent crude oil sold for around $93.25 per barrel as of 6.35 p.m. local time (1535GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 28.0040, the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 29.6495, while a British pound traded for 34.0295 liras.
