ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index opened at 2,531.68 points on Thursday, rising 5.76 points, or 0.23%, from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was up 0.27% for an all-time high closing of 2,525.93 points on Wednesday, with a daily trading volume of 44.1 billion Turkish liras ($3 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate remained unchanged at 14.6750 as of 10.00 a.m. local time (0700GMT), in comparison with the previous close.
The euro/lira exchange rate rose to 15.9820 versus 15.9170, while a British pound traded for 19.1830 liras, up from 19.1770.
Brent crude oil was sold for around $108.3 per barrel as of 10 a.m. local time, while the price of one ounce of gold was $1,954.
