Türkiye's benchmark stock index surged 2.57% to end Thursday at nearly a month high of 10,739.94 points, after days of closure due to the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 268.62 points from Friday's close of 10,165.52 points.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,378.05, while Brent crude oil sold for around $85.71 per barrel as of 6.04 p.m. local time (1504GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.8427, the euro/lira exchange rate 35.3285, and the British pound traded at 41.6664 liras.
