ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 4,789.63 points, up 0.13% from the previous close.
Starting the day at 4,777.51 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 6.13 points compared to the previous close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 4,750.50, while its daily high was 4,831.42.
The total market value of BIST 100 was around 3.98 trillion Turkish liras ($205.1 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 47 billion Turkish liras ($2.44 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $1,992.75, while Brent crude oil sold for around $77.83 per barrel as of 18.43 p.m. local time (1543GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 19.4398 and the euro/lira exchange rate was 21.4281, while the British pound traded at 24.2682 Turkish liras.
