Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul up at close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkiye's benchmark stock index closed the day at 2,072.93 points on Friday, up 0.11% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 2,071.35 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 2.28 points from Thursday's close of 2,070.65 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,825.05 by market close, down from $1,828.75 at Thursday's close.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $83.4 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT).
