ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's current account balance posted a deficit of $5.46 billion in July, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) announced on Monday.
The gold- and energy-excluded current account saw a surplus of $717 million in the month, the CBRT data showed.
Gold deficit was $10.47 billion, it added.
Services saw a net surplus of $5.99 billion in the month and travel, under services, recorded a net inflow of $4.79 billion.
"Primary income and secondary income recorded a net outflow of USD 903 million and USD 85 million, respectively," the bank said.
In July, direct investments saw net inflow of $392 million, the bank stated.
