ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye’s current account balance posted a deficit of $8.78 billion in February, the country’s Central Bank said on Monday.
The balance, excluding gold and energy, saw a surplus of $834 million in the month, the bank said.
The goods deficit was at $10.4 billion in February, while the services sector recorded a net surplus of $2.33 billion in the month.
Under services, travel item had a net inflow of $1.65 billion in February.
Direct investments recorded a net inflow of $505 million, the bank added.
