ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's services exports totaled $56.5 billion last year, up by 19.2% from $47.4 billion in 2022, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, imports amounted to $41.4 billion, up by 15.3% from $35.8 billion in 2022, TurkStat stated.
The share of transport in total services exports was 74.2% in 2022. It was 68.9% in 2023. Exports in transport totaled $38.93 billion in 2023.
In 2023, 29.3% of total exports were performed with Germany, the US and the UK.
Germany took the first place for services exports with $6.98 billion with the share of 12.4%, the US followed with 10.1% and the UK ranked third with 6.8%.
