ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index rose 0.44% from the previous close to end Friday at 3,377.33 points.
After starting the day at 3,330.26 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 14.21 points from Thursday's close of 3,363.12 points.
On a weekly basis, the BIST 100 index fell 4.09% this week.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 2.7 trillion Turkish liras ($148.3 billion) by close, with a daily trading volume of 72.2 billion Turkish liras (nearly $4 billion).
One ounce of gold traded at $1,670.70 by market close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was at $92.21 per barrel as of 6.07 p.m. local time (1507GMT), up 1.51%.
