ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index rose 0.87% on Friday's to a fresh record high close of 3,934.63 points.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 33.78 points from Thursday's close of 3,900.85 points.
The BIST 100 index also hit an intraday record of 3,952.22 points.
On a weekly basis, the BIST 100 index jumped 8.48% this week.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 3.1 trillion Turkish liras ($168.1 billion), with a daily trading volume of 71 billion Turkish liras (nearly $3.83 billion).
The price of Brent crude oil was at $92.43 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT), and one ounce of gold traded at $1,644.49
