ANKARA (AA) - An Emirati-built moon rover attached to a Japanese lander has been integrated onto a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket for launch on Wednesday, according to a recent report.

The launch will be from Launch Complex 40 pad at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida and will be covered live at 2039 GMT, United Arab Emirates daily The National reported on Monday.

The launch of the 10 kilogram (22 pounds) Rashid rover will mark the 55th launch for SpaceX in 2022.

Assuming no setbacks, the rover is expected to land on the Moon at the end of April.
