ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish football giants Galatasaray drew goalless with Belgium's Club Brugge in a UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday.
The Lions faced their opponent in an away match at the Jan Breydelstadion stadium in Bruges for the first match of Group A.
Both clubs were keen to make a good start with a win as they kick off Group A matches, with tough fixtures lying ahead -- with matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Galatasaray have an advantage of the score since the team will host Club Brugge in Istanbul in Nov. 26.
In another Group A match, PSG will face Real Madrid in Parc des Princes stadium in Paris tonight.
A total of 32 clubs compete to lift the UEFA Champions League Cup at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
The 2020 Champions League final will be played in Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium on May 30.
Istanbul powerhouse Galatasaray represent Turkey this season in the competition.
