LONDON (AA) – The UK and Israel share "a close and historic friendship," the British foreign secretary said Tuesday.
James Cleverly, who shared a photo on Twitter with his Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen, said they signed an agreement. "On trade, tech and security, our two countries are taking full advantage of these opportunities."
This came as two days before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's arrival in the UK on March 23.
As part of an official visit, Netanyahu is expected to meet with his British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London.
