The UK unemployment rate between August and October came in at 4.3%, stable compared to the previous three-month period, in line with market estimates, the Office for National Statistics said on Tuesday.
The UK employment rate for people aged 16 to 64 years came in at 74.9% in the three months ending in October.
The number of payrolled employees increased by 76,000 or 0.3% at an annualized pace to 30.4 million in November.
Annual growth in wages excluding bonuses accelerated to 5.2% year-on-year over the three months to October 2024, from 4.9% in the previous period and above forecasts of 5%.
