ISTANBUL (AA) – Ukraine on Wednesday claimed that it had struck a drone storage facility in Russia's southern Krasnodar region, which contained approximately 400 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

A statement from Ukraine's General Staff said the Ukrainian Navy, in collaboration with the country's Security Service, hit the depot near the settlement of Oktyabrsky.

According to available information, about 400 drones were stored at the facility, the statement claimed.

It added that two explosions occurred in the area.

Russian authorities have not yet commented on the statement, and independent verification of Ukraine’s claims is difficult due to the ongoing war.
