ANKARA (AA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday imposed sanctions against 51 individuals and 220 companies, affiliated with the transport, communication and industrial sectors of Russia and Belarus.
The relevant decree was published on the official website of the Ukrainian president.
Among the companies included in the new Ukrainian sanctions list are Mobile Telesystems (MTS), Volga-Dnepr Leasing, Russian Railways Logistics, RZDstroy, Solikamsk Experimental Metallurgical Plant, the State Research Institute of Chemical Products and the Minsk Automobile Plant.
The restrictive measures include a ban on entry into Ukrainian territory, issuing Ukrainian visas, cancellation of official visits, and a ban on fulfilling economic and financial obligations to the persons under sanctions.
In April, Zelenskyy sanctioned 438 individuals and 254 enterprises from Russia and Belarus
In particular, the sanctions were introduced against the daughter of Russian Defense Minister Ksenia Shoygu, Belarusian Minister of Sports and Tourism Sergey Kovalchuk, and two-time Olympic champion Svetlana Khorkina.
