ISTANBUL (AA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted two draft bills Wednesday to the Verkhovna Rada, or parliament, on extending martial law and mobilization.
The bills, which were posted on the Verkhovna Rada website, proposed the extension of martial law and mobilization for 90 days.
Martial law was first declared by Zelenskyy immediately after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war on Feb. 24, 2022. It was first extended in March for 30 days.
