LONDON (AA) - Britain's Royal Mail on Wednesday said that it is experiencing “severe disruption” to its international export services after a “cyber incident.”
"We are temporarily unable to dispatch items to overseas destinations," Royal Mail said in a statement, adding that some customers may suffer delay or disruption to items already shipped for export.
It "strongly" recommended customers temporarily stop submitting any export item until the issue is resolved.
However, Royal Mail noted that import operations continue to perform a “full service” with some minor delays.
"We have reported the incident to our regulators and the relevant security authorities," it added.
