BURSA, Turkey (AA) - An annual mega-business summit kicked off on Friday at a ski resort in northwestern province of Bursa on Friday.
The eighth Uludag Economy Summit will host businesspeople, economists, top officials and academics from Turkey and around the world.
Organized by Turkish magazines Capital and Ekonomist since 2012, the two-day summit will focus on industry, trade, manufacturing, finance, energy, agriculture and technology.
The chairpersons and representatives of global companies including Facebook, Google, P&G, Vodafone and Ernst & Young from countries such as the U.S., Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Jordan, Nigeria, the U.K., South Korea, the Netherlands, and China will be attending the summit.
A start-up event called "Stars of the Region" will also be held to showcase investment opportunities for entrepreneurs.
