ANKARA (AA) - Ulugbek Rashitov of Uzbekistan defeated Bradly Sinden to win the gold medal in men's Taekwondo 68 kilograms at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday.
Rashitov secured a 34-29 win over his British opponent in the final.
In the same competition, Turkey's Hakan Recber won the bronze to give his nation its first medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
He defeated Bosnian Nedzad Husic 22-13 in the bronze medal game.
Meanwhile, Hatice Kubra Ilgun became the second Turkish Olympic medalist in Tokyo after she bagged the bronze in the women's Taekwondo 57 kg event.
She sealed a win against Iranian Kimia Alizadeh Zonoozi of the Refugee Olympic Team 8-6 in the bronze medal competition.
