ISTANBUL (AA) - Unreleased songs, rehearsal recordings, and interviews with Britain's greatest rock band of the 1960s, The Beatles, have been put up for auction online.

Six cassette tapes containing the band's lost recordings are up for auction on the Gotta Have Rock and Roll website, with a starting price of $300,000.

The tapes include animal sounds from outside the studio during the recording of the band's 1967 album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," vocal experiments by Paul McCartney, George Harrison's attempts to play the song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" in a different version with Jimmy Page, and a 45-minute interview with John Lennon.

The online auction also includes autographed concert tickets from the band, music equipment, and collectibles.

The first auction will be held on Saturday and the second will take place on Sunday.

Estimated revenue for all items in the collection is expected to reach approximately $1,000,000 from sales.
