GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – At least 11 Palestinians, including a child, were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, medical sources said.
An Israeli drone shelled a tent for displaced people in the central city of Deir al-Balah, killing two people, one of the sources said.
Medics also transferred the bodies of two people to Al-Awda Hospital after an Israeli strike north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, the hospital said.
Israeli forces also struck a home in Jabalia Nazla area in northern Gaza, leaving two people dead, another medical source said.
Four more people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a home in the northern town of Beit Hanoun, he added.
In Gaza City, a child succumbed to his injuries sustained from an Israeli strike in the city's eastern Al-Daraj neighborhood, he added.
Israeli forces also arrested two fishermen while fishing off the coast of Deir al-Balah city, witnesses said.
Israel has continued a genocidal war on Gaza that has killed more than 45,000 people, most of them women and children, since an attack by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.
Last month, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
