UPDATES WITH RISE IN DEATH TOLL; CHANGES HEADER

ISLAMABAD / ISTANBUL (AA) – The death toll in an explosion in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Friday climbed to 52, while dozens of others were injured, local media reported.
The explosion occurred in the Mastung district when people were gathering for Eid Miladun Nabi, or birthday celebrations of Islam's Prophet Muhammad, near a mosque.
Local daily Dawn newspaper quoted a medical official as saying that the death toll rose to 52.
The injured were shifted to local health facilities.
