GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - At least 14 Palestinians, including a woman and three children, were killed Tuesday and others injured in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, according to medics.

The Civil Defense said in a statement that its rescue teams removed the bodies of seven people killed in an airstrike on a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central part of the enclave.

A medical source at the Al-Awda Hospital said the victims included a woman and three children.

The airstrike destroyed a home and severely damaged the surrounding buildings, witnesses told Anadolu.

Three more people were killed in a drone strike targeting a civilian gathering north of Rafah in southern Gaza, said the Civil Defense.

The service said its teams recovered the bodies of victims from the Ariba area north of Rafah and transported them to the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, also in southern Gaza.

Medics told Anadolu that an Israeli drone strike later hit a gathering of Palestinians in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, killing three.

In a separate incident, the Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza reported that the body of another Palestinian was recovered following a strike by an Israeli drone in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of Rafah.

Israel has launched a genocidal war on Gaza that has killed nearly 44,800 people, mostly women and children, since an Oct. 7, 2023, attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last month for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense chief Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on Gaza.
