BEIRUT (AA) - Four additional Hezbollah fighters were killed in clashes with Israeli forces near the border between the two sides, the Lebanese group said Wednesday.
The group identified the slain fighters as Hassan Saab, Jihad Hayek, Hassan Ahmad and Wehbe Ibrahim, without disclosing details on the circumstances leading to their deaths.
The fatalities brought the number of fighters killed in clashes with Israeli forces since Oct. 8 to 346 according to an Anadolu tally based on statements released by the group.
Tensions have risen along Lebanon's border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv presses ahead with its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed nearly 37,400 victims since October, following an attack by the Palestinian group, Hamas.
