WASHINGTON (AA) - A crane injured six people when it collapsed early Wednesday in New York City, resulting in fire and smoke.
"Four civilians and two firefighters sustained minor injuries from the debris that fell below following the crane collapse," Mayor Eric Adams wrote on Twitter, who said an investigation is underway.
The incident happened at a construction site on 10th Avenue and 41st Street, according to officials.
The injuries were non-life-threatening, CNN reported, citing a source with the fire department.
