JERUSALEM (AA) —The Israeli army on Friday announced the death of another soldier in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the Israeli army identified the soldier as Sergeant Yonathan Seamer, 21, from the 202nd Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade.

It added that the military death toll since the start of the fighting in Gaza on Oct. 7 had risen to 356.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 11,078 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women. The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, is nearly 1,600, according to official figures.
